PARIS 2024 OLYMPIC GAMES

On the occasion of the XXXIII Olympic Games, scheduled in Paris from 26 July to 11 August 2024, the increasingly important partnership between Casa Italia and Edra is renewed. For this edition, the athletes and their guests are expected at Le Pré Catelan, a magnificent 19th century Napoleon III style building immersed in the evocative Bois de Boulogne park.

The project of Casa Italia for Paris 2024, entitled Ensemble, is based on the concept of brotherhood, as the ability to recognize another as our brother, regardless of the differences that make each individual unique.

Casa Italia Paris 2024 transforms Le Pré Catelan into a truly scenographic and emotional journey, in which nature, art, architecture, furniture and light are in very close dialogue with each other.

Edra furnishes the important spaces of Le Pré Catelan with its indoor and outdoor collection - sofas, armchairs, chairs, coffee tables: from the interview room, conference and accreditation room, to the restaurants, the lounges, up to the Gallery and the gardens.

In the athletes' restaurant one of several installations involving Edra recreates a fluid natural indoor landscape with Francesco Binfaré's On the Rocks sofa, reinforcing the idea of annulling indoor-outdoor barriers, an idea that emerges as one of the main aims of this overall curation.

The elements of the outdoor version of the Standard sofa by Francesco Binfaré are installed on the terrace reserved for the President of CONI Giovanni Malagò. The Casa Italia furnishing project offers a continuous reference between interior and exterior, through the care given to both comfort and function and the guest experience. Focusing on the value of hospitality, making the visitor feels always at home.

In the Gallery the Sherazade sofas in natural fabric, under the work Tappeto Volante created by the Stalker collective together with the Kurdish exile community in Rome.

The Athletes' Lounge becomes a metaphor for feats and achievements, taking the idea of room with sky and positioning the Campana brothers' Cipria sofa in soft cloud white, under a mirrored sky.
